I've been a Sandra Brown fan from the beginning. Witness was her first hardback and one of the best books ever. She keeps it fresh with a dash (or more) of romance to bring a sigh at the end. Many re-reads of most of her books. This year I re-read Mean Streak.
The Stranger by Harlan Coben
I've been a Harlan Coben fan from the beginning and have hooked many friends and family on his books. Great storyteller.
Pretty Girls: A Novel by Karin Slaughter
Stand alone (along with Cop Town). Not for the faint of heart but best mystery cop thriller author. Her Will Trent series is absolutely a must read, you fall in love with Will Trent and cheer for him every time.
Cold Cold Heart by Tami Hoag
I have read Tami Hoag since her romance book days (all were hot, romantic suspense and beloved, they are worn out from all the sharing and re-reads) but I digress. Her books now are suspenseful and compelling.
Zoo by James Patterson and Michael Ledwidge
It was good, dragged on a little, but compelling subject matter. I'm not a James Patterson fan anymore. His early Alex Cross books were awesome and worth a re- read anytime. Also still like his Women's Murder Club series.
The Girl on the Train by Paula Hawkins
I don't think it deserves the hype it's getting. Reminds me of Gone Girl. I didn't love it, maybe the movie will redeem it.
Revival: A Novel by Stephen King
Vintage Stephen King. Finders Keepers, sequel to Mr. Mercedes. Couldn't put it down. This series is the best King has done in awhile. Can't wait for the next one!
Saving Grace by Jane Green
Loved it, if you like her books you won't be disappointed.
