My husband and I have loved his books from the beginning but he really found the book series he was meant to write with: Natchez Burning and The Bone Tree. Read them in that order, they are 2 out of 3 books in a wonderful Penn Cage series. Anxiously awaiting the final book in the series. Don’t be intimidated by the size of the books, you’ll tear right through them and want more as you turn the last page!
