The Passage was the best read of the year for us when it came out. We’ve loaned and recommended that book to dozens of people and everyone has felt the same way. It was the first in a trilogy, The Twelve, was the second book and was a little harder to sort through. I had many people calling asking me what was going on, it was hard to keep the characters straight. He has the last book in the trilogy due out The City of Mirrors, but the release date has been postponed a few times. The Passage could definitely be read as a stand alone and you’ll be very satisfied. It’s simply a book not to be missed!
