This is one of her most intense thrillers. Maybe because it involves a woman being kidnapped for hundreds of days and survives - sort of - and a pine box, isn’t that every woman’s worst nightmare, how she continues her life, relives it in a way you can’t imagine.... One of my favorite lines in the books is something like “think of the worst thing he can do to you and he’ll do worse than that” Shudder!! Not particularly graphic, scarier because it isn’t I think! Couldn’t put it down, read it with the lights on! Love her books.
