Trust me, you will stay up all night to read this funny, sexy, sweet book. Another in the great Chicago Star series. Susan Elizabeth Phillips remains at the top of her game with her writing. Her books, particularly the Chicago Star series are laugh out loud funny, hot and sexy, warm and sweet all at the same time. You will definitely remember them and remember specific scenes. They can be read as stand alone or start from the beginning. Each book does feature former characters but you really can start anywhere and read in any order you want. But read them, you won’t be sorry. I loved this book and all her books! Chicago Star Series in Order: It Had To Be You; Heaven, Texas; Nobody’s Baby But Mine (a personal favorite); Dream A Little Dream; This Heart of Mine; Match Me If You Can (another personal favorite); Natural Born Charmer (and another personal favorite).
Lisa Kleypas
Run don't walk to get Sugar Daddy, Blue Eyed Devil. Smooth Talking Stranger so you are ready for the final book, Brown Eyed Girl. Get ready to forget everything else while you immerse yourself in her wonderful foray into contemporary fiction. As a plus every one of her old historical books are as wonderful. She is just the best and I've never been disappointed in her books.
Jodi Picoult
What can I say, Jodi Picoult doesn't write a bad book. Read every one! But favs were all her early ones, Nineteen Minutes, The Storyteller, and Handle With Care were this years re-reads.
Sandra Brown
I have every Sandra Brown (including her “Loveswept” novels) and she’s been an all time favorite forever. She does keep it fresh which is amazing. Read them all. My personal favorite is The Witness, The Alibi, Mean Streak, Chill Factor and Friction.
